Getting to the hotel

Does the hotel have a transfer service?

Does the hotel have air conditioning/heating?
The heating operates in winter and the air conditioning in summer. A perfect temperature year-round!
Will my room be cleaned during my stay?
Does the hotel have internet?
Can I listen to the radio in my room?
Do the TVs have several channels and movies?
When can I check in?
In a hurry? It may be possible for you to check in early, depending on hotel occupancy. If not, you can always safely store your luggage at the hotel. In addition to the hotel’s leisure facilities (bar, ping-pong, petanque, etc.) we also provide a shower room, hot drinks (tea and coffee) and wifi internet.
Been delayed or arriving late? Our hotel is open 24/7.
When do I check out?
Want to take your time? Notify reception when you check in so they can arrange a late check-out* at no extra cost.
*Late check-out may not be available when the hotel is busy.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel? (before check-in/after check-out)
Can you take me right to the ski fields?
The shuttle* departs RockyPop Hotel at 8.45 am and the return shuttle leaves at 4 pm at the latest from Tour ski field. Don’t miss it 🙂
Timetables may change so check with reception for more information.
*Our shuttle only stops at Chamonix ski fields (Brévent, Flégère, Grand Montet and Tour). For Les Houches ski field you can take the valley bus. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel (bus stop ‘Le Pont’, direction Les Houches).
Is the hotel near public transport?
*Bus frequency: every 30 minutes, every day except during the shoulder season when it is every hour on Sundays and bank holidays.
Do I have to pay for public transport?
Can I buy my ski pass at the hotel?
Can I hire/buy my equipment at the hotel?
You can even book equipment online through our website to enjoy exclusive discounts.
Can I store my equipment at the hotel?
What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is not included in your room price (unless stated in a special offer).
What time is dinner?
What time is the bar open?
Our bar is open daily from 4.00 pm to midnight (last orders at 11.45 pm). You have ample time to savour one of our many cocktails!
Enjoy happy hour every Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 5.00 pm to 7.00
Have the staff been trained to comply with health safety measures?
Our staff has received a specific in house training to protect themselves and yourself.
If one of our employees has symptoms, they do not come to work.
Each staff member is checked before starting their shift.
We priorise autonomus work to limit the risk of contagion.
All working processes have been rethought as part of the battle against the spread of the virus.
Are common areas and equipment disinfected?
An employee is responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of common areas throughout the day.
Our night auditor does his night watch with disinfection equipment.
All of our staff take special care in the cleaning and disinfection of all points of contact.
What measures have been put in place to respect physical distance?
Materialized queues are available in all places that may be required.
Ground stickers have been placed to allow you to comply with physical distance measure.
Plexiglas are placed at every necessary location.
Greet contactless.
Do I have to follow one direction of traffic to move around?
The traffic direction is shown, please respect it.
Ground floor doors remain open during the day.
Can I disinfect my hands and control my temperature?
Hydroalcoholic gel is available at each entrance of the hotel.
Thermometres are available at reception upon request.
Do I have to choose a particular method of payment?
Credit card payments at each point of sales are recommended.
Can I use the lift to get around?
As much as possible use the lift to go up and the stairs to go down, a single guest or a family are accepted in the elevator.
Use your room key to select your floor.
Do I must respect barrier gestures?
We rely on you to respect the barrier gestures within the hotel for the well-being of all.
Have the facilities in the rooms changed?
All non-essential items to your comfort have been removed from your room : pens, plaids, carpets. You will find a lot of information on your television screen and the reception is there for you. Dial 9.
Can I have breakfast and/or dinner at the hotel?
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 06:30 am to 10:00 am.
Specific measures have been put in place at the restaurant to welcome you.
Decontamination measures are reinforced in the kitchen.
